Step 1: Choose two colours of nail polish. Make sure that these colours compliment each other if you want to make the design look even more impressive!

Step 2: Using one of the colours, paint over your entire nail. You may want to do a few coats of this!

Step 3: Once this has dried, use the second colour and paint in a straight line down the left side of your nail. Make sure you don't start right at the top, for the best result you want to start part way down your nail, like this...

Step 4: This step is similar to step 3, but instead, this line is in the middle of your nail. You want to start the line just below where the first started.

Step 5: Again, you need to paint a straight line down the right of your nail, starting below the one next to it.

Step 6: Use the first nail polish again to paint another three lines below the ones you just have painted.

Once you have finished the design add a top coat to give it protection and to just bring the whole look together! Here is the final result...
