Point Break

On Friday evening, Eloise and I had our weekly trip to the cinema (as we are proud owners of unlimited cards!) to see Point Break. And may I say, it was AMAZING!

Usually, I am not really into action based films, it's romantic comedy all the way, but this film was a definite exception. The whole way through my eyes were glued to the enormous screen, waiting for what happened next...I don't think I blinked once tbh! It was action filled and tear jerking in some parts, it had everything, a tear nearly escaped at the beginning but I was strong!!

I definitely recommend watching this film, it is superb, and in my opinion it is the best thing I have watched this year so far! That means a lot from a person who only watches films if they have a happy ending ;)

So, stop what you are doing and buy a ticket now! Oh and don't forget the popcorn!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Good morning all!!

Today is a very special day, and not just because Kirsty and I have a day off! Today is The beautiful Dreamer's 1st birthday!!!

I can't believe how fast the time has flown- it's been a year since we were sat in Kirsty's bedroom, bored and undecided as to what to do! But here we are!

I want to say that owning a blog has brought so much joy to my life and it has been so much better to do it with my best friend. So, thank you Kirsty for co-owning this blog with me, it's been so much fun!!

And now, thank you to everyone who reads our blog!! we honestly didn't believe that we would get the views that we have gotten in a year- 1697 page views and 30,354 views and 6 followers on our Google+ Page!!! Thank you all so much!! We hope you enjoy our content and want us to write more...

So, with that, here's to another great year and let's make it to our 2nd birthday!!!!

Product review!

Hello! Recently, I have bought this new product and I found that it works like a dream!

Macadamia oil shampoo...

I have only used this product a couple of but it leaves my hair feeling fresh and gives it a shine like no other shampoo I have ever used. It smells absolutely amazing too!

The use of the macadamia oil helps to provide nutrients to your hair without bringing a build up of moisture that will make your hair feel greasy. It also helps to reduce the appearance of split ends so you look like you have come straight from the hair salon!

As I normally have very wavy hair, which is horrible when you don't have time to straighten it, this shampoo has helped to reduce the waves and practically turned it naturally straight! There are some days where I don't even bother to straighten my hair because it won't make a difference!! To be honest this has helped me so much in my life, especially when I wake up late and am in a massive rush!

So, if you are ever in a cosmetics shop I definitely recommend buying some macadamia oil shampoo and giving it a go, it won't do you any harm right?!

On another note.....how cute is baby Tomlinson?!
On Thursday 21st January, Louis Tomlison and Brianna Jugwirth welcomed their baby son into the world. And today they have revealed his name and the first baby picture and it is honestly the cutest baby ever!! (Excuse the fangirling ;) )

A Day In The life Of Me!

I don't know about you, (but I'm feeling 22) I'm incredibly nosy at times, especially when it comes to people's lifestyles and what they do. So, I thought why not give you the chance to nosy into the life of me!!

6:47am- Wake up, it's a new day!

6:48am- Regret waking up and want to go back to sleep

6:55am- Get dressed and tie my hair in a ponytail (and go to the loo!)

7:01am- Go downstairs and have breakfast, the usual raspberry cookie oatmeal

7:10am- Go back upstairs and brush my teeth and do my makeup, check my phone for anything I missed whilst asleep

7:30am- Check my timetable and packed bag and make my way to the bus stop for school

8:20am- School!

2:35pm- Finish school and get on the bus to go home or stay after school for revision

4:00pm- Get my arse to the gym!

5:20pm- Dinner!! (Best part of the day)

5:30pm- NEIGHBOURS

6:00pm- Any homework that needs doing or just chilling

7:30pm- A well earned shower

10:00pm- Going upstairs to bed after watching my TV shows and brush my teeth

10:30pm- Finish reading a chapter or two of whatever I am reading at the time and lights off. It's time to sleep!!!

Motivation is the key to success

Hello, I hope you have all enjoyed your first week in 2016 and all your New Years resolutions are going strong! I have already given up on some of mine so I wish you the best with all of yours. As the year continues, we begin to find ourselves losing motivation to make the year the best it possibly can be but we should be making the most of every second we have. So, to keep you motivated throughout the year or to pick you up when you are feeling low, I have put together some of my favourite quotes that always put a smile on my face and will hopefully put a smile on yours too!

1. There is no elevator to success you have to take the stairs

2. If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough

3. Life is like a camera, you focus on what's Important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot

4. When it rains look for rainbows, when it's dark look for stars

5. You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one

6. You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore

7. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain

8. Those who do not believe in magic will never find it

9. A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear

10. Don't look back, you're not going that way

Love, Kirsty

New Years Resolutions

Hello!!

As you all know, 2016 is fast approaching and that means we are all about to make our own New Years Resolutions. Now you may be thinking, it's a bit early to be doing this because it is still December 30th.

However, for next year I want to be the best I can be, and that means putting a lot of thought and effort into my resolutions!! I thought, that if you're stumped, I'll give you a few tips to making the perfect resolution for you!

Well, for starters, I would only make one or two resolutions as you can put all of your efforts into succeeding. Even if they're only small, they're still likely to be kept if you only have one or two others. For example, two years ago, I made a resolution that I would stop biting my nails and I did exactly that!! I think you want to start small to get the biggest results.

Also, don't make a resolution to reinvent yourself, make a resolution to improve yourself. I am very big on self improvement and I think that I've worked hard for everything I've become, why would I want to change that? Now, I'm not saying I'm perfect (because I'm not) but there is always room for improvement. And I think that if you're going to do a fitness resolution, for example, you should play on your strengths- don't start from nothing, start from where you are now!!

Oh, and another thing, make sure you take baby steps to completing your goal. BE REALISTIC!! There's no point setting a goal to make £1,000,000 in a year, it's not likely. But do make a goal to make more money and ask yourself how am I going to do that?? Will I get another job on the side?? Will, instead of buying a coffee everyday, perhaps make my own and save money that way?? The key to succeeding your goal is to make baby steps. Make is sustainable, not unattainable.

So, these are my tips for the perfect New Years Resolution! I hope you have a great New Years and all the luck for 2016!!

Love, Eloise

My Favourite Movies At The Moment!!

Hi everyone!!

I just wanted to start off by saying I hope you are all having a wonderful break and are really excited for Christmas. I know I am.

Kirsty and I are well (3 days) into the Christmas holidays and have watched WAY too many movies in that space of time. In fact, today we both went to the cinema with our unlimited annual pass (not to brag or anything) and saw Sisters, staring Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, which is very funny. So, I though that I would write my top 10 recommendations for the best films to watch. And just so you know, I have watched ALL of these within the past week. Sad, I know.

10. Taken

9. Love, Actually

8. The Holiday

7. American Hustle

6. Nativity

5. American Sniper

4. Fury

3. The Hangover Part II

2. Vacation

1. The Hangover

And as an added bonus because I love you all so...

We're The Millers

So these are the best films i've watched to date and I must say you should definitely check them out!!

Have a good day wherever you are and stay safe!
